Professor of Game Design At Mt. San Antonia College
Joseph "Jay" Vales has been involved in the Game and Entertainment Industry since 2000. Jay started off as a Staff Writer for NewType USA, a national anime magazine. He then moved to the Video Game industry with work on such titles as the original World of Warcraft, The Golden Compass: The Game, Grand Theft Auto 4, Smackdown vs. RAW 2010, and Korean titles Trickster Online and Grand Chase. He has also entered as a Game Designer in the 2012 IGF with the game Boom Ninja and has also designed and published the analog card game Conquest at Kismet in 2015 under Victory Point Games, which earned top 10 at Boardgamegeek Con 2015 and a Silver Medal from The Dice Tower. He is currently a professor at Art Institute of California - Inland Empire and Mt. San Antonio College where he has been teaching 3D Animation and Game Design Theory and Applications since 2012.
